Cards favour Indian win over Australia; Dhoni, Yuvraj & Harbhajan could be the stars

The Six of Wands shows Australia to be in an environment, which they can mould things in their favour, but they will struggle to be able to do so. The reasons for this are cards like the Nine and Five of Swords which represent a weak mindset and the inability to successfully put plans together, even though they would come into this game well planned. They will display strong team work, but this will falter in areas like fielding despite a confident start.

George Bailey will find it tough to be a balanced captain. One of the reasons for this is represented by the Two of Swords which clearly show him not addressing repetitive concerns, which will eventually catch up on him. His batting will start off well and he will look comfortable, but the Tower card shows this momentum being broken.

Key players

Shane Watson will have to work very hard to regain a strong batting and bowling rhythm. It will be a tough day for him, but he certainly has the capability and cards like the High Priestess show him using all his resources to play well.

Michael Hussey will up the tempo when needed. Like the Four of Pentacles, he will be a steady accumulator.

David Warner will have a very comfortable start with the bat, but the Three of Swords is looking to cut short his innings because of complacency.

Brad Hogg will have a good day with the ball. Like the World card, he will enjoy all round success.

Pat Cummins will start off wise and careful, but this will not last. He will prove to be expensive, as explained by the King of Pentacles.

India

The Sun, Magician and the Seven of Pentacles represent India's confidence and success today. Their hidden ideas and their clever implementation of strategies will show them to have an edge over the opposition. They will have some trouble with their batting and bowling, but nothing that should hamper their success, as explained by the Ten of Pentacles. Hard work will also been seen in their fielding.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni will initially appear to be complacent with his captaincy, but luckily this phase will not last very long. Like the Seven of Wands and Ace of Pentacles, he will be in command and will find his decisions providing success. He will be an eager batsman and with the Chariot supporting him, he will play a balanced and strong innings.

Key players

Virender Sehwag will bat well and like the Lovers card, he will be part of a strong partnership.

Virat Kohli will need to remain focused throughout, especially as he has the Magician supporting a smart innings from him. The Page of Swords is the only worry where he can lose it for himself through a momentary lapse of concentration.

Yuvraj Singh will play a good innings for the team, but this will not be without extreme hard work and battling tough conditions.

Harbhajan Singh will have some of his old problems returning to trouble him, but he holds the key to success. Like the Six of Wands he will battle all concerns and have a good day.

Ravichandran Ashwin may not have such a successful day, but with the battle of who to choose, it might be wiser to go with Piyush Chawla instead. The cards indicate Piyush Chawla to be better directed and like the Ten of Cups, he will be more beneficial for the team's cause.

Who will win?

India.
