Yuvraj Singh smashed a half-century on day two of the India-England Test match at Ahmedabad on Friday to mark his return to Test cricket on a high note.
He slammed a boundary off Samit Patel over mid-wicket as he reached his fifty. There was a sigh of relief on his face as he acknowledged the crowd.
Earlier, Yuvraj made a brilliant comeback into the First-Class arena as he scored 208 off 241 balls for North Zone in the Duleep Trophy.
Cheteshwar Pujara also slammed the second century of his career against England at Ahmadabad on Friday.
Pujara scored 14 boundaries to reach his second ton in 190 balls during the first session on the second day of the match.
Earlier, on Day One, Indian opener Virender Sehwag ended his two-year century drought with a blistering 117, smashing 15 boundaries and one six in his knock. It was Sehwag's 23rd ton in Tests.
Giving Pujara company was comeback man Yuvraj Singh on a dry Motera track which has already shown signs of assisting the slow bowlers.
Off-spinner Graeme Swann did the damage for the visitors, scalping all the four wickets that fell today, and pegged India back to some extent after the roaring start Sehwag had provided to the team.
Sachin Tendulkar (13) and Virat Kohli (19) could not capitalise on the 134-run partnership for the first wicket between Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir (45).
