India A vs England: Yuvraj Singh registers five-wicket haul


India A vs England: Yuvraj s four-wicket haul keep visitors under control
 Yuvraj Singh registered five-wicket haul as England were bowled out for 429 against India A at the Brabourne Stadium on day three of the first warm-up tie.

England went past India's first innings total of 369 even as Samit Patel became the second English player after captain Alastair Cook to complete his century.

At lunch, Tim Bresnan was unbeaten on 21 and James Anderson was not out on 1.


Patel, who was unbeaten on 82 yesterday, scored a ton while wicketkeeper Matt Prior hit a half-century to help England take a slight edge over the hosts.

Earlier, Yuvraj made a fine 59 with the help of seven fours and four sixes.

Just when lunch was round the corner, Swann was bowled when a ball from Vinay Kumar kept a bit low.

Brief Scores: India A 369 (Manoj Tiwary 93, Abhinav Mukund 73, Yuvraj Singh 59; Tim Bresnan 3 for 59, Graeme Swann 3 for 90) lead England 429 (Alastair Cook 119, Samit Patel 104; Yuvraj Singh 5 for 94,  Ashok Dinda 2 for 86) by 57 runs.
