South Africa restrict England to 118/7 in first T20 clash

South African bowlers restricted England to 118 for seven in 20 overs in the first Twenty20 International at Chester-le-Street on Saturday.


The Proteas spinners Robin Peterson and Johan Botha picked up two wickets each as the visitors put regular breaks in the England innings.

The hosts were put into bat after South Africa skipper AB de Villiers won the toss and chose to field.

Craig Kieswetter top scored for England scoring 25 runs from 24 balls.
