M Ashwin's five-for helps Tamil Nadu bowl out Delhi for 265

A five-wicket haul by M Ashwin helped Tamil Nadu bowl out Delhi for 265 on the first day of the final of the Moin-ud-Dowla Gold Cup cricket tournament.


Electing to bat, Delhi made 265 runs in 82.4 overs with Dhruv Shorey making 70 off 157 balls. Milind Kumar 39 (76b, 4x4, 1x6) and Pradeep Sangwan 35 not out (48b, 4x4) and Mohit Sharma 32 (87b, 4x4) were the other contributors.

While Ashwin collected five for 88, P Mohammed and Vijay Shanker took two wickets each for 47 and 32 runs respectively.

Tamil Nadu made one run without loss when stumps were drawn. K B Arun Karthik (1) and Ahtiraj Sandhilya (0) were at the crease.
