ICC World T20 2012: West Indies reach 128 as Chris Gayle, Marlon Samuels depart


West Indies reached a score of 128 runs for the loss of two wickets at the end of 15 overs against England in the Super Eights of World T20.


Opener Johnson Charles is unbeaten on 61 runs off 43 balls as the dangerous looking Chris Gayle and later Marlon Samuels departed.

Chris Gayle gave a blistering start to the West Indies innings as Darren Sammy earlier opted to bat first.

The West Indies have yet to win a match, having come off worst against Australia in their Group B opener but recorded a superior run rate to Ireland's.
