Zimbabwe Cricket will announce the 15-member squad for the 2012 ICC World T20 to be held in Sri Lanka in September on Wednesday.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from September 18 to October 7.
Convenor of selectors Givemore Makoni said preparations have been going on very well.
“So far we have 20 players in camp and preparations have been going on smoothly. On Wednesday, we will announce the final squad that will travel to Sri Lanka. The team might play preparatory matches in Sri Lanka or we might settle for a country that is closer to the host nation,” he was quoted as saying by The Zimbabwe Standard.
India announced its squad for the tournament of Friday. Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh returned to the team for the World Cup. Mahendra Singh Dhoni will lead the Indian side while Gautam Gambhir was named the vice-captain.
