Sri Lanka Premier League 2012 schedule: Match time table with ground details

The inaugural edition of the Sri Lanka Premier League will be starting on Saturday, August 11 at Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.


Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra is the title sponsor and ESPN-Star will be broadcasting the live coverage in India.

The premier league consists of seven teams and a total of 56 foreign players will be participating. Howevre, there will be no players participating from India or England.

Twenty20 star player Chris Gayle will be miss the inaugural season of SLPL.

Earlier, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) informed its Sri Lankan counterparts that all players signed up to play in SLPL, have been given clearance to skip the training camp for the Australian tour to play in the league.

Sports management company Sporty Solutionz Pvt. Ltd will distribute the TV rights globally for the inaugural Mahindra SLPL starting on Saturday.
